Bio
I have worked in the US (1994-2010) as a School Counselor in International Schools which was a great experience as it gave me a first understanding of how to use PD in a school community. I did most of my PD training back then. When I came back to France, I co-founded the French PD Association (ADPF). Developping PD in France required time, patience and cooperation. It was totally unknown there at the time. I learned to work with resistance and to use PD taking into account cultural differences. I love the idea of meeting participants where they are. I adapted (and co-adapted) to French 5 PD books and Jane Nelsen’s parents’ workbook. I also translated some of Eva Dreikurs’s work along with Armelle Martin. I try to deepen my Adlerian understanding as much as possible. I love sharing what I am passionate about and PD is part of it. This is one of the reasons I also enjoy leading ACTs, facilitating coreworkshops, giving feedback. The learning experience that emerges from the group and grow within each and everyone of us is so powerful.
I work with facilitators and trainers, parents, pediatricians, psychologists, schools (whole school projects takes 60% of my time), fostercare agencies (PD is a perfect match to work with foster parents, educators, leaders and the whole system). I also work with teams to build trust within the team using PD philosophy and cooperative leadership. In fact, I am very involved locally developing PD in several contexts and I travel a little less than before in order to balance my time between family/social life and work.
