Dina is a Certified Positive Discipline Lead Trainer with over 30 years of experience in education. She has taught every grade level, kindergarten through eighth grade, as well as college level students, teachers and parents. For nine years she served as the principal of an elementary/middle school whose staff incorporated Positive Discipline principles including classroom meetings. Currently Dina works as a Leadership Coach with programs for individuals and teams who want to improve their leadership skills and abilities to work together effectively. Dina has presented at educational conferences in the U.S. and Canada for the North American Society of Adlerian Psychology and the National Association of Educators of Young Children. She has trained teachers and parents in Positive Discipline on four continents. She serves as Co-Chair of the Positive Discipline Association Board of Directors, and is a member of their national and international speaker's bureau, most recently representing the association in the countries of Cyprus, Chile, France and China. Dina provides Positive Discipline core training workshops annually in Chicago. She is the co-creator of the newest PD workshop, Positive Discipline in the Workplace, with founder, Jane Nelsen. Dina is author of Trusting the Fortune Within and co-author of Roadmap to Success. She and her husband Bob live in Eureka, Illinois and are the parents of two grown children and new grandparents.
Lisa Herold is a Certified Positive Discipline Trainer with over 25 years of experience in Education. She has extensive experience working in public and private schools in urban and suburban areas.
Lisa's specialty lies in connecting the members of a community, as her daily work includes interaction with children, parents, and faculty. She currently serves as Education Specialist at Saint Clement School in Chicago where she is a member of the Leadership Team. Lisa facilitates faculty development sessions and parent workshops for schools in the Chicago area. She works with community organizations including Elyssa's Mission and Digital Natives to provide ongoing educational outreach to adults and children.
In addition to her work in school communities, she partners with business leaders and human resource professionals to create team building experiences in the workplace. Lisa lives in Chicago with her husband, Craig. They are the parents of three young adults.

Workshop Description: This two-day interactive workshop is designed for teachers, counselors, school staff and administrators who want an effective discipline approach that integrates social and emotional learning while reducing challenging student behaviors. Attendees will earn recognition as a Certified Positive Discipline Classroom Educator and will learn to:
- Develop a large teaching toolbox of kind and firm discipline approaches.
- Establish explicit classroom structures and procedures.
- Create an equitable classroom community based on mutual respect.
- Understand the motivation behind students' misbehavior and how to encourage positive change.
- Facilitate effective class meetings teaching social skills and problem-solving.
- Learn Positive Discipline/Adlerian Psychology for use in the classroom and school community.
Cost: $375 Early Registration, available until 05/24/2019. $425 Regular Registration. Four or more registering together take $50 off fee. Limit 30.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: Workshop Registrations: A full refund (minus a $35 processing fee) will be given when the request for a refund is made up to 30 days prior to the first day of a workshop. Refunds are not available for cancellations less than 30 days before a workshop. However, paid registrants can transfer to another workshop within one year at no additional cost. Refunds are not available after a transfer is made or if you do not provide advanced notice that you will not be attending the workshop.
In the event of cancellation, participants will be notified by email.
