Parenting Class Description: 

Ready to level up and get a solid framework of parenting strategies and tools? In this group experience you will learn what "discipline" actually means and looks like, growing confidence each week through a style rooted in firmness and kindness. Learn how to have fun through connection while also setting healthy limits and boundaries to teach important social and life skills. Help your child feel a sense of belonging and significance through mutual respect and encouragement and deepen your family communication and systems. Respond to behavior challenges (tantrums, not listening, sibling conflict, rudeness, sleep issues, etc.) with respectful tools that are solution focused. Based on Jane Nelsen's Positive Discipline books, these classes are a wonderful way to get personalized support and practice the skills over a few weeks so that you can go more in-depth with the material and have accountability. This class is appropriate for expecting parents all the way through elementary school ages.
