Cost: MD 5500 Early Registration, available until 11/14/2024. MD 6000 Regular Registration. Limit 40 participants.

Facilitator Information: Omneya is a certified Positive Discipline Lead Trainer. Founder of Arab Positive Disicpline-Egypt, official PDA affiliate.

- A Positive Discipline Trainer Candidate for Parents and in the Classroom.
- 6 years of experience in educational counseling, coaching, and training in the field of parenting.
- The first to facilitate Positive Discipline workshops in Arabic in Morocco, having delivered numerous Positive Discipline workshops to hundreds of Moroccan mothers and supported them in practically applying what they learn.
- She taught PD in the classroom for two years in a school in Marrakesh.
- Facilitated online introductory workshops on the Positive Discipline methodology to nearly 100 moroccan teachers.

Workshop Description:  This two-day interactive workshop is designed for teachers, counselors, school staff and administrators who want an effective discipline approach that integrates social and emotional learning while reducing challenging student behaviors. Attendees will earn recognition as a Certified Positive Discipline Classroom Educator and will learn to: 

  1. Develop a large teaching toolbox of kind and firm discipline approaches. 
  2. Establish explicit classroom structures and procedures. 
  3. Create an equitable classroom community based on mutual respect. 
  4. Understand the motivation behind students' misbehavior and how to encourage positive change. 
  5. Facilitate effective class meetings teaching social skills and problem-solving. 
  6. Learn Positive Discipline/Adlerian Psychology for use in the classroom and school community.

Whether you attend one of our live workshops or participate in an online workshop, you may choose to earn 1 to 4 non-degree credits. Positive Discipline Association courses approved for Graduate-Level Semester Credits through University of the Pacific will appear on an Official Transcript with a letter grade.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: Workshop Registrations: A full refund (minus a $35 processing fee) will be given when the request for a refund is made up to 30 days prior to the first day of a workshop. Refunds are not available for cancellations less than 30 days before a workshop. However, paid registrants can transfer to another workshop within one year at no additional cost. Refunds are not available after a transfer is made or if you do not provide advanced notice that you will not be attending the workshop. 

In the event of cancellation, participants will be notified by email.
