Facilitator Information: Justine is a passionate coach, educator, and leader committed to empowering individuals to enhance their learning and excel in their pursuits. As a Positive Discipline teacher-trainer and parent educator, Justine delights in sharing valuable strategies and Adlerian theory-based tools that blend social and emotional learning, all while effectively curbing disruptive student behaviors. Drawing from her experience as the Positive Discipline Coordinator at the International School of Düsseldorf, Justine possesses a deep understanding of the essential elements necessary to establish a thriving, enduring culture of social-emotional learning within educational institutions.

Nadine Gaudin is a Positive Discipline trainer, Parent Educator, and teacher. She has taught for 15 years in Primary Schools in France and has recently resigned in order to focus primarily on Positive Discipline. Nadine has been providing workshops (Teaching Parenting the Positive Discipline Way, Positive Discipline in the Classroom and parenting workshops) around the world, Singapore, Montreal, Egypt, Belgium... The most important part of her actual work is to train the teachers in all kinds of schools (private, public, international...). Nadine mainly enjoys doing whole school projects, and helping the schools maintain Positive Discipline long term. She has worked to develop PD in over 40 schools in the past 3 years. She is also the co-chair of the Positive Discipline Association.

Workshop Description:

This is an online interactive and streamed video workshop designed for teachers, counselors, school staff and administrators who want an effective discipline approach that integrates social and emotional learning while reducing challenging student behaviors. Attendees will earn recognition as a Certified Positive Discipline Classroom Educator and will learn to:

Develop a large teaching toolbox of kind and firm discipline approaches.
Establish explicit classroom structures and procedures.
Create an equitable classroom community based on mutual respect.
Understand the motivation behind students' misbehavior and how to encourage positive change.
Facilitate effective class meetings teaching social skills and problem-solving.
Learn Positive Discipline/Adlerian Psychology for use in the classroom and school community.

Whether you attend one of our live workshops or participate in an online workshop, you may choose to earn 1 to 4 non-degree credits. Cancellation/Refund Policy: Workshop Registrations: A full refund (minus a $35 processing fee) will be given when the request for a refund is made up to 30 days prior to the first day of a workshop. Refunds are not available for cancellations less than 30 days before a workshop. However, paid registrants can transfer to another workshop within one year at no additional cost. Refunds are not available after a transfer is made or if you do not provide advanced notice that you will not be attending the workshop.

In the event of cancellation, participants will be notified by email.
