Parenting Class Description: Positive Discipline is an approach to parenting rooted in mutual respect and encouragement. It is neither punitive nor permissive, and strikes the healthy middle ground between the two. Based on Jane Nelsen's book on Positive Discipline and well-researched Adlerian psychology applied in over 80 countries, it focuses on long-term parenting strategies that help children feel a sense of belonging and significance, and build the skills that they need to be confident, responsible, and contributing adults in future.

In this 2-day parenting seminar conducted by Yogi Patel, participants will engage in experiential activities related to Positive Discipline (Jane Nelsen) and Encouragement Consulting (Lynn Lott). These activities immerse participants in the child's world, guiding them to tap into their inner child's wisdom, create more awareness of unhelpful discouraging habits, and take small steps towards meaningful personal and relational growth. All parents and caregivers welcome!
