Trainer Information:
Hamida Elemam is an engineer. When she became a mother and found the way of Positive Discipline she found her desire to help others so she obtained the certificate of Positive Discipline Educator and she presented a lot of workshops of the Positive Discipline Way for Parenting then became candidate trainer in order to help more people by spreading the positive discipline and now she is a trainer. Also she obtained the certificate of Positive Discipline in Classroom in order to help children teaching them character building and she already taught a lot of workshops offline and online for kids from different ages. She also gained the certificate of Empowering People in the Workplace and this helped her to teach and train a lot of teams and specially some teams inside the company that she works in as an engineer and she found the effect of that in a large scale. Hamida's passion is teaching so she also took the certificate to become Practitioner of the training of "Training form the back of the room "to involve the newest way in her training , also she present coaching sessions one to one as Encouragement Consultant and APG Practitioner . and first of all she is human that love humanity and a mother of 3 (2 daughters and 1 son).
Workshop Description:
This interactive on-line live and streamed video workshop is designed for parent educators, teachers, therapists, childcare professionals and others who want an effective discipline approach. This method is based on Adlerian Psychology and integrates social and emotional learning while reducing challenging behaviors. Successful participants will earn recognition as a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator and will:
- Learn research based and effective tools and techniques for teaching parents how to use discipline that is kind and firm at the same time (non-punitive, non-permissive)
- Learn how to facilitate a parent class from the position of a non-expert.
- Gain practice with experiential exercises that help parents go beyond intellectual understanding to be able to respond in empowering ways that teach children.
- Learn how to use materials and activities in group settings, parenting classes, and individual work with families.

Whether you attend one of our live workshops or participate in an online workshop, you may choose to earn 1 to 4 non-degree credits. Positive Discipline Association courses approved for Graduate-Level Semester Credits through University of the Pacific will appear on an Official Transcript with a letter grade.
Cancellation/Refund Policy: Workshop Registrations: A full refund (minus a $35 processing fee) will be given when the request for a refund is made up to 30 days prior to the first day of a workshop. Refunds are not available for cancellations less than 30 days before a workshop. However, paid registrants can transfer to another workshop within one year at no additional cost. Refunds are not available after a transfer is made or if you do not provide advanced notice that you will not be attending the workshop.
In the event of cancellation, participants will be notified by email.
