Positive Discipline Association Scholarship Policy
Need-Based Scholarships toward the registration fee are offered to help make Positive Discipline Association workshops available to economically and socially diverse demographic groups. These scholarships are only available for live, in-person workshops. Scholarships for on-line training are not available through the Positive Discipline Association. Prioritization will be given to those who intend to use Positive Discipline to teach others or to serve as a professional or volunteer in a social work or counseling capacity. Scholarships will be awarded based on timing of application, financial need of applicant, availability of scholarship funds, and the intended use of the information and skills learned in the workshop. Priority is given to those who intend to use the training to teach the Positive Discipline model to others.
All applicants will be notified by the Director of Training and Research as to their scholarship status as soon as decisions are finalized.
